I'm looking for a rear driver's side brake caliper for my 2016 Chevy Malibu Premier. Question is, are the calipers different for models with electronic parking brake versus manual? I can't find any manual ones locally, so wondering if they're interchangeable or not.

They are not interchangeable. Models with electronic parking brakes use calipers with integrated actuators. Make sure to match the system type

Yep, they're not interchangeable because the EPB caliper includes a motor assembly that the manual version doesn't have.
If yours has EPB, make sure the replacement caliper is compatible with that system. You might also need to put the car into "service mode" to safely retract the pistons during installation

As the others said, they're not interchangeable, so you'll need to look for a caliper that doesn't have the ebrake thing. You said you can't find locally. Why not order the caliper and have it shipped to your home? Or if it's a rare find, you might want to check with your local dealer.
