2022 malibu RS tire specifications

My wife has been planning to get a brand new '22 malibu rs and ive been doing some research coz I know she wouldnt, and i cant help but notice that some would say this car's wheels are 8.0" wide and some would say its 8.5". a pretty tiny detail but I just wanna be sure. Another thing i wanna be clear about is that the wheels off set is +49mm though that has been a consistent read so im guessing its right

Best to take it for a test drive and you should also bring a ruler (half kidding but why not?) I really think it's a good and timeless one so I suggest you really try to see if it's compatible with her? Unless it's a perfect fit (all factors included) she is not gonna totally enjoy it.
 
Yeah, I've seen that too, the 2022 malibu rs wheels seem to be listed as both 8.0" and 8.5" wide, but 8.5" seems to be more common. The +49mm offset is definitely consistent, so you're good there.

wheel width is tied with tire width, so if everything fits, then you're fine. You can consult the tire shop and see which ones aare the perfect fit for the malibu

Man, you can go to the dealership with wifey and consult there to make sure. you can't really believe everything in the internet, you need to see it yourself

wow, You're way ahead of the game with this research, huh! honestly, I don't want to sound negative. just tht I'm confused, is half inch that important?
 
Hey there! So, I just wanted to share some info about the wheels on the 2022 Malibu RS. They're 18x8.5 with a +49mm offset, and I've checked this against a few different sources just to be sure. And honestly, you totally made the right call trusting that offset spec. It's solid info
