Alright, buckle up, folks! I've got a 2021 Malibu base model running on 16-inch wheels, and I've been eyeing the shiny 18-inch ones like a kid in a candy store. But here's the deal, will upgrading to 17 or 18 inches turn my car into the next Fast and Furious extra, or am I risking suspension trauma and tire tantrums?
Before you ask, yes, this family car comes with its own set of issues. Because apparently, our collective goal is to keep mechanics employed. But hey, I'm thinking bigger wheels might at least make it look like it's winning at life.
So, what's the verdict? Is the upgrade worth the style points, or am I just setting myself up for a "because bigger isn't always better" lesson?
