Disabling active noise cancellation on the '24 Malibu

As you all know not all General Motors vehicles have a Bose audio system and so my car doesn't really have an external AMP. Now I am not liking the active noise cancellation because if I do then I should have just worn my Airpods Max. I still want to hear something on the road or else. So yeah I can't do the instruction for those Bose thing. I need to find a way to solve this thing ASAP or else I'm going nuts. Any idea?

I can relate with you on that but really I'm not sure what best to do about it. Maybe your dealer can help provide detailed info or maybe you can bring to an authorized Chevy mechanic so they can check?

probably check the manuals, usually you would find something in it about the setting

You might want to check out LLJ Customs or Metra Online! They offer bypass harnesses specifically designed to address this ANC issue on vehicles without the Bose system.

Easiest fix is pulling the fuse tied to ANC, then check your owner's manual for the right one, you could also unplug the mic harness behind the headliner or near the rear seats, careful not to kill other audio features in the process
